Summary: (Made for the KyuHyuk day) Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk are both princes, they were childhood friends; everything changed after they grew up and didn’t see each other. What would happen when they get together again after so many years?

“All the archers at the laterals!” Prince Eunhyuk yelled, pointing the place he wanted the archers to be with his sword.
“Seems to be the King will be arriving in a few hours Your Highness.” A warrior informed Prince Eunhyuk.
“What is his position?” Prince Eunhyuk asked serious.
“Archers at the front and warriors at the laterals, he comes right after the archers.” The warrior explained while accommodating the figures in a map.
Prince Eunhyuk frowned. “Is there a chance he would change positions before arriving?” He asked while thinking about his strategy.
“There is Your Highness.” The warrior said. “And there seems to be the king took all his warriors, there must be the double than ours.”
Prince Eunhyuk panicked, but he had to be a leader for his people, he had to think straight and of course, he had to plan something for his Kingdom to win this battle.
A neighbor King had the brilliant idea of expanding his territory by attacking the Lee Kingdom. That King is well known because of his madness and his ability in body to body fights; still, Prince Eunhyuk was probably the best strategist ever and he wouldn’t let his Kingdom to be dominated by an awful King as that.
Prince Eunhyuk didn’t know the exact reason of the attack; there were no problems before with that Kingdom so he supposed it was because of the prosperity of his own Kingdom and the falling of the other. He knows the battle would be probably a personal fight and he was burdened by the thought of him being the responsible one of the Lee Kingdom’s future.
“How much time do we have before he arrives?” Prince Eunhyuk asked to the warrior.
“About three hours Your Highness.” The warrior said. “Should we retreat Your Highness? They are so many, almost twice our men, we might not get out triumphant.” The warrior asked concerned and worried.
Prince Eunhyuk bit his lower lip and analyzed his formation. “King Jung is at the center?” He asked while looking intently at the figures.
“It seems to be like that Your Highness.” The warrior answered sighing.
“Prepare my armor and my sword.” Prince Eunhyuk ordered standing up and reaching out the tent.
“Will you go out in the battle Your Highness?!” The warrior asked panicking. “Is dangerous! Let the warriors and archers do their job!”
“It is my job to fight, not theirs.” Prince Eunhyuk said flatly. “I’m the Prince and I shall protect my people.” He went out.
The warrior was left smiling warmly, Prince Eunhyuk was going to be the perfect King and everybody was sure of that.
“Warriors at the centre! Archers laterals! Shield bearers at the front!” Prince Eunhyuk ordered and everybody started to move.
“What’s your plan Your Highness?” a warrior asked.
“Let’s surround them.” Prince Eunhyuk said with a smirk in his face. “King Jung is pathetic when he doesn’t know what to do.”
“Where will you go Your Highness?” The warrior asked. “It will be hard for you to reach the King.”
Prince Eunhyuk sighed and turned to see all his people already in his positions and waiting for him to order something else. “I’ll be the head!” Prince Eunhyuk announced and everybody went blank.
“That’s too risky Your Highness!” The warrior said again in panic. “If they kill you then we are lost!”
“They won’t kill me so don’t worry.” Prince Eunhyuk said while warming up with his sword. “Prepared my arch and daggers, I will need them.”
“The troops are coming!” Someone announced and suddenly everything was awfully silent.
Prince Eunhyuk was at the mere front, facing the enemy’s troops while King Jung was well protected by his warriors.
“Such coward.” Prince Eunhyuk hissed.
Nobody dared to move or say anything in the following minutes, tension was in the air, and red blood would be the dominating color of the days to come.

Queen Lee and Queen Cho sighed when Prince Kyuhyun couldn’t stop walking in circles. They both put their cups of tea in the table.
“I’m sorry you couldn’t find him here Kyu.” Queen Lee said smiling warmly.
“Where the hell is he?!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled in annoyance. “I just came a day after him!”
“Queen Lee already told you Kyu…” Queen Cho said sighing. “He had to do his Prince musts.”
“I’m a Prince too and I don’t go to battle a enemy King!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled frustrated.
“That’s because you’re an irresponsible Prince unlike our Hyuk…” Queen Cho hissed loud enough as for his son to hear.
Prince Kyuhyun clenched his fists and groaned. Everybody looked up when the door of the room opened.
“Your Majesty.” Queen Cho stood up and bowed lightly to the king.
Prince Kyuhyun said nothing and instead of that he just bowed, he was still annoyed because of the angriness he was feeling.
“Our Kyu came too.” King Lee said with a warm smile. “So sad our Hyuk is not here.”
“When will he come back?” Prince Kyuhyun asked as if the king were a normal person.
The king laughed because of the prince’s manners. “I’m sorry Kyu, I’m afraid he won’t be coming in some weeks.”
“How could you let him go?!” Prince Kyuhyun busted out. “He’s a prince!”
King Lee sighed. “Because he is a Prince, he is supposed to take care of the battles, he is a great strategist and we really need him on this.” The king said sitting down. “And he has the whole Kingdom forces with him.”
“Still that’s not right!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled. “What if he gets hurt?!”
“He’s an excellent warrior and an excellent leader.” The King pointed out.
“That King is crazy!” Prince Kyuhyun said and the Queens and King knew right then that the latter was indeed worried.
Queen Lee sighed. “We are as worried as you are Kyu…” She said softly. “I’m afraid that person might hurt him, but there’s nothing we can do about it, he is the crown Prince and he has that kind of responsibilities.”
“When is he coming back?” Prince Kyuhyun asked flatly.
King Lee smiled warmly. “Prince Eunhyuk estimated the battle would take five months.” He said and sadness could be seen in his eyes. “I hope he won’t get hurt.”
“Five months?!” Prince Kyuhyun opened his eyes widely. “That’s so much time!”
“It’s actually a really short time Kyu…” Queen Cho said calmly. “That kind of battles can take years.”
“Years?!” Prince Kyuhyun clenched his fists; there was no way he would let that time passed without him looking at Prince Eunhyuk’s eyes. It has been barely a week since the last time they were together and that was killing him, what would happen in years?
“But our Hyuk is such an intelligent and wise man that he always solves these battles in no time.” Queen Lee said proudly.
“Prepare the carriage.” Prince Kyuhyun ordered seriously to a servant who was standing in the corner of the huge room.
“What? Where are you going?” Queen Cho panicked, she really had to get used to that kind of behavior.
“I’ll go and be with him.” Prince Kyuhyun said.
King Lee sighed. “I’m sorry Prince Kyuhyun, but I wouldn’t allow that.” He said in a serious tone. “I would rather for you to stay in this Palace until he gets back.
Prince Kyuhyun groaned and clenched his hair in annoyance. “No way I will let him do that after I become King!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled frustrated, still walking from side to side of the room.
The Queens and the King turned to see each other with mischievous smiles in their faces.
“He will stay in the Palace, bake me cakes and eat strawberries!” Prince Kyuhyun said frustrated. “No way he will go and fight against a stupid King!!”
“Do you pretend to take away the heir of my Kingdom Prince Kyuhyun?” King Lee asked with a smirk in his face.
“Do you wish for a battle Your Majesty?” Prince Kyuhyun asked with a glare directed to the King and a serious tone framing his voice. “Because there’s no way I will lose.”
Queen Cho and Queen Lee froze, their breathe ability was suddenly gone. Nobody would ever dare to challenge the King, not even a strong Prince like Kyuhyun.
The King suddenly started laughing his ass out. “You’re so interesting Prince Kyuhyun!” King Lee almost screamed while trying hard not to laugh anymore. “Of course I wouldn’t dare to battle against you! I’m old and you’re stronger, that would be unfair!”
Queen Lee and Queen Cho sighed in relief when they felt the mood was lightly.
Prince Kyuhyun frowned.
“You never change Kyu…” Queen Lee said smiling. “Always so possessive towards our Hyuk.” She said and Kyuhyun looked away blushing lightly and remembering those days when he wouldn’t even let Prince Eunhyuk let go of his hand.
He smiled and it was right then, when he realized all that time he lived away from Prince Eunhyuk, those twelve years, he had loved him and missed him so much that he would try to fulfill that emptiness in his heart with sex. He knew right then that he actually fell for Prince Eunhyuk since he had memory. Prince Kyuhyun finally realized he had loved the latter since forever.

It has been already two months and Prince Eunhyuk was satisfied, the enemy’s troops were backing off and his were advancing, the King wouldn’t even show up, and he was waiting for him to fight.
Everybody was tired, sleeping in a place where people was getting killed wasn’t easy, but somehow, Prince Eunhyuk always managed to keep them cheerful and full of energy, the fact that both troops were already with the same number of men was good enough for them to keep their mind up.
“You should take a rest Your Highness.” A warrior said. “We will work hard here.”
Prince Eunhyuk was panting hard, he just killed some archers, for him, the hardest to get and probably the most dangerous, he was glad he almost finished them up. He looked around and analyzed the situation, he could see from afar the tent were the King was, it was protected by almost a hundred to men and he knew he couldn’t risk himself to go and get him.
“Let the archers have some rest and guide the shields to the front.” He ordered. “I will sleep three hours and I don’t want anybody to die while I’m gone.”
“Yes Your Highness.” The warrior said bowing lightly to the retreating Prince.
Prince Eunhyuk laid down inside his tent, he looked at the bracelet in his left wrist and a warm smiled appeared in his pretty face. Even when there were screams and blood outside, he was feeling those butterflies in his stomach just when Prince Kyuhyun’s face crossed his mind.
He wondered if Prince Kyuhyun was using his. Prince Eunhyuk was happy he could have something in common with Prince Kyuhyun, even if it was just a simple bracelet.
He slowly fell asleep, thinking just in Prince Kyuhyun and a lotus flower he knew was from Prince Kyuhyun. He smiled to himself while remembering the Prince’s lips on his and finally he was in dreamland.

Prince Kyuhyun looked at his bracelet, the simple look at that object sent shivers to his whole body, he was expecting this day to come since five months and he wanted Prince Eunhyuk to know how much he has missed him.
“Today is the day!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled while running down stairs.
It has been five months since he arrived to the Lee’s Palace, he spent his time in Prince Eunhyuk’s room, smelling the scent and sleeping hugging his pillow. It was finally the day that Prince Eunhyuk announced he would come and he couldn’t wait to see him, he was just too excited as for mind everything else that wasn’t related to his Prince.
Everyday would be hard for him, not knowing what could happen and not being able to help the latter at all. He was just desperate to see Prince Eunhyuk, to hug him and, well, to kiss him.
“Prince Kyuhyun, how have you been?” Queen Lee asked calmly.
“When will he arrive?!” Prince Kyuhyun asked excited and smiling like an idiot.
“I’m sorry Prince Kyuhyun.” King Lee entered the room, gaining confused looks from the Queen and the Prince.
Prince Kyuhyun’s smiled faded away in an instant, he smelled something wrong in the mood.
“What?” Prince Kyuhyun asked flatly. “Why do you apologize?”
“Prince Eunhyuk just sent a letter; he said the battle will continue; he expects to return in a month.” The king said showing the letter.
Queen Lee sighed. “I don’t like him going to battles dear…” She said while sitting down. “But at least I know he’s fine and still alive.”
“How can it be enough just to know he’s fine?!” Prince Kyuhyun busted out; he was damn mad and scared. Anything could happen in a month and his heart couldn’t take it anymore.

“I’m sorry Prince Kyuhyun.” King Lee entered the room, gaining confused looks from the Queen and the Prince.
Prince Kyuhyun’s smiled faded away in an instant, he smelled something wrong in the mood.
“What?” Prince Kyuhyun asked flatly. “Why do you apologize?”
“Prince Eunhyuk just sent a letter; he said the battle will continue; he expects to return in a month.” The king said showing the letter.
Queen Lee sighed. “I don’t like him going to battles dear…” She said while sitting down. “But at least I know he’s fine and still alive.”
“How can it be enough just to know he’s fine?!” Prince Kyuhyun busted out; he was damn mad and scared. Anything could happen in a month and his heart couldn’t take it anymore.
