Prince Kyuhyun was walking side to side in front of the main door. He was really considering to just run away to go and find Prince Eunhyuk, but being the useless Prince he is, he would probably just make a war against his own Kingdom.
Prince Kyuhyun was frowning, just like every day, every second since he couldn’t get to see Prince Eunhyuk. He looked at the bracelet in his hand and just for a few seconds, he forgot he was that worried and smiled weakly at Prince Eunhyuk’s memories that crossed his mind.
“Why did you go away from me?” Prince Kyuhyun asked to no one in particular. “Why didn’t I notice before?” He felt guilt running once again through his veins. “Why was I that stupid to think you would always be there for me?”
Prince Kyuhyun turned once again to the main door and he stayed there, frozen, for minutes. He frowned once again when the door didn’t give any signs of revealing Prince Eunhyuk behind.
“Please come already…” Prince Kyuhyun pleaded to the air. “Please come back safe…” He said while running his fingers through the bracelet. “Please come back to me quickly.”
--------------------
“AHHHHH!” Prince Eunhyuk yelled as the signal for his warriors to attack, the strategy he made up was good enough as for them to win.
But there was just one thing that would claim their victory… and that would be to kill the King.
“Location!” Prince Eunhyuk yelled to one of the warriors while taking his sword out of one of the enemy’s archers.
“He’s in the very end of the third row of warriors Your Highness.” The warrior informed to the now covered in blood and panting Prince.
“That means I have to fight a little bit more before reaching him huh?” Prince Eunhyuk said as a matter of fact and sighed.
“You should let the warriors protect you Your Highness.” The warrior said concerned. They couldn’t take the risk of losing their prince and the heir of the throne in those circumstances.
“They are protecting their Kingdom, not the Prince.” Prince Eunhyuk said. “And now I’m a warrior, so I will protect my Kingdom as well.” He said determined.
“But Your Highness…” The warrior was about to complain.
“FOR KING LEE!!” Prince Eunhyuk shouted raising his sword onto the air and ignoring the warrior protests.
“FOR KING LEE!” all the warriors yelled back and suddenly their mood went up, their determination was clear and they were all willing to give up on his life just because of their great king.
Prince Eunhyuk ran to the battle arena and started fight with the enemy’s warriors. Of course he didn’t like to kill, but he didn’t have another option, he would apologize every time his sword crossed someone else’s heart, he would make a quick death and he would make sure his victims to suffer the least.
He arrived to where King Jung was, and he frowned when he saw how coward was that King. Prince Eunhyuk looked around him by the corners of his eyes; he counted the warriors that were around him one by one; the warriors that King Jung just sent as his last hope to win the Prince.
Prince Eunhyuk knew that was it; he couldn’t possibly fight with the five warriors around him; he knew it was the time for him to die for his Kingdom. Still, Prince Eunhyuk wasn’t willing to not fight back.
Suddenly, Prince Eunhyuk saw how the warriors fell one by one after they groaned and he realized a smiling figure in the highest point of the place where Prince Eunhyuk was.
That figure was one of his archers who somehow managed to protect the Prince, and Prince Eunhyuk looked at him at the eyes so he could remember and thank him later. He smiled back and then frowned when he had to run to where King Jung was.
The war had to end right away.
-----------------
“You’re such a coward King.” Prince Eunhyuk said frowning and pointing the king in front of him with his sword. “You might die in my hands.” He announced determined.
“You should know I’m an excellent warrior Prince Eunhyuk.” King Jung said smirking. “I’m not that easy to kill.
“Then you must know I’m an excellent warrior too King Jung.” Prince Eunhyuk said, locking his gaze in the king’s eyes.
No words were shared after those sentences. Quick moves and smart dodges were in action. Both warriors were panting hard after an hour.
Both of them had small bruises in their faces and arms, their clothes were already thorn apart because of the small hits that every one of them gave to the other.
Prince Eunhyuk was tired, unlike King Jung, he actually fought against the soldiers, he already was tired and his body seemed to acknowledge that.
“I will take your crown to my King for sure.” Prince Eunhyuk announced.
“I think that will be impossible after I take your Kingdom Prince Eunhyuk.” King Jung said panting and cleaning the blood that was going out from one of his bruises.
Prince Eunhyuk frowned and fixed himself, ignoring the pain and the tiredness that was invading his whole body.
“The King won’t even flinch if ever you get near him.” Prince Eunhyuk said calmly.
Moments, later, they were both fighting once again while their warriors were doing as well; the blood they could taste in their bodies, the sweat in which they were both covered, the pain of the new bruises that both of them got, the tiredness and difficulty to breath; that was nothing compared to the honor of a Kingdom.
Prince Eunhyuk stepped in a small stone and that made him to lose his balance; King Jung took advantage of the small distraction and attacked pointing his sword right to the Prince’s heart.
Prince Eunhyuk opened his eyes wide when he realized what was happening, he was surely die just because of that small rock and he couldn’t feel worst. He tried to dodge the hit and he couldn’t feel better when he did; gaining just a simple bruise in his left wrist.
Prince Eunhyuk sighed and looked t his new achieved bruise in his hand. He opened his eyes when he saw something different, when he saw the bracelet was not there. Prince Eunhyuk frowned and looked everywhere just to find the object destroyed in the floor, destroyed by a powerful sword.
“Do you plan on getting me to kill you that fast?” King Jung asked but Prince Eunhyuk couldn’t hear him, he was boiling in madness, his gaze was locked in the destroyed bracelet and finally landing in the King’s smirking face.
“I will never forgive you.” Prince Eunhyuk said with a firm voice. He forgot everything about the battle just to focus on the reason of why his most precious object was lying in the floor torn into pieces.
“I’m not asking you that.” King Jung said while running towards Prince Eunhyuk who was already prepared with his sword firmly in his hand.
The battle of the King and Prince kept going on with blind minds, the only thing they both wanted was to kill the other and take the kingdom along with their deaths.
The battle between two strong warriors just began.
---------------------
Prince Kyuhyun sighed heavily, his heart was beating fast just by the thought of Prince Eunhyuk and he somehow liked it. But he was too worried to mind that at that moment, it was just a week for the month to finish and there have been no reports of the Prince.
Prince Kyuhyun felt useless; he read almost all the book Prince Eunhyuk read, with the slight difference that he didn’t really paid attention to what they said since he was just thinking about the latter. The only way he would felt like doing something productive in that foreign Kingdom was to take care of the garden. He sent someone to get Lotus Flowers and to fix the forgotten pond in the palace.
Prince Kyuhyun would take care of the flowers no matter what, so when Prince Eunhyuk returned, he could have his plan done. He trusted Prince Eunhyuk was going to come back safe, he just knew it. Prince Kyuhyun was nervous all the time; he needed Prince Eunhyuk by his side or at least to know he was doing fine.
“How come it’s still a week far?!” Prince Kyuhyun asked yelling to himself. “It’s been almost like ten years!!” He exclaimed walking in circles.
Queen Lee and Queen Cho sighed and decided to not look at Prince Kyuhyun anymore since they were getting dizzy.
“It’s been just six months Kyu…” Queen Cho reminded. She just went to visit once again the Kingdom since his son was there, and because she wanted to comfort Queen Lee since her son was out in a war; fighting a mad King.
“It feels like ten years!” Prince Kyuhyun exclaimed frustrated. “Why isn’t he coming back yet?!”
“Calm down Kyu… he will arrive safe…” Queen Cho said softly to his nervous and a little bit crazy son.
“So I heard you have no more concubines?” Queen Lee asked curious and tried to change the mood since she was getting nervous too.
“Oh right!” Queen Cho exclaimed happily. “No more girls in the Palace!” She almost yelled from happiness.
“That only means our Kyu is getting all grown up!” Queen Lee exclaimed equally excited.
Prince Kyuhyun frowned by the sudden change in the conversation.
“What about a marriage Kyu?” Queen Cho asked hopefully.
“Yes Kyu…” Queen Lee smiled softly. “Have you already plans?”
“I just want to eat strawberry cake!” Prince Kyuhyun yelled while going out of the room leaving two confused Queens looking at each other in confusion.
“Why doesn’t he ask the chef?” Queen Lee said still confused.
Queen Cho sighed. “Hyuk used to bake him cakes every day.” She said while sipping from her tea.
“So sweet…” Queen Lee smiled softly.
---------------------------
“Seems to be like you’re tired Your Highness.” King Jung said with a smirk in his face and panting hardly.
“Unlike you…” Prince Eunhyuk said while trying to gain his breathing again. “I’m young and strong and not old and ugly.” He said and a smirked turned to his face when King Jung frowned.
“How dare you…?” King Jung said madly.
“I just said the truth!” Prince Eunhyuk said determined and getting into his fighting position again.
Both Prince Eunhyuk and King Jung have been fighting for almost seven hours without rest, they are both tired but they can’t give up at that point of their lives. They have to win for their Kingdom.
“AHHHHHH!” Both yelled while throwing themselves onto the other, sword at the front and firmly handed; the last hit that would definitely determine the winner.
Prince Eunhyuk opened his eyes wide when he felt the cold iron pierce his skin in his abdomen, he felt how the blood was going out smoothly and the pain that suddenly ran through his body.
He turned to see King Jung’s face just to find a smirk written in it. Prince Eunhyuk was surprised; his mind just couldn’t register about what just happened.
“Seems to be the winner is already determined Your Highness.” King Jung said whit a chuckle.
Prince Eunhyuk closed his eyes and pulled his sword out of King Jung’s chest. “Yes.” He said while watching how the death body fell down just in front of him. “It’s already determined.” He said before taking out the King’s sword out of his own body.
